How To Talk--Using Manners Through Words

Ah, yes, manners. Something that Generation Z has failed at since day one. It all started because parents (such as us) have been coddling their child. As a baby, it was looked upon as cute to spill applesauce or puréed carrots on the floor. These days, as adults coddle their child, and force them to stay young forever, children are not looked down upon because of their loss of manners. It seems to be cute.
However, it is not. One way to improve manners is through words and language. When speaking, using words such as ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ are simple ways to be mannerful and proper. If you want to sound even more proper and mannerful, you can say please and thank you in French. If you do not know how to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ in French, you have two choices. You can either google it, or you can just say a word that sounds like it’s French (it can be made up) in place of thank you or please.
How do I work these words into my everyday lifestyle? You may ask. Well, you should start by assessing how often you say please and thank you. If you do not say this enough, you might just have a cold soul and need to figure out how to be grateful for things. Next, learn how add these words into your life by yelling at yourself. Each time you say thank you instead of ‘merci’ (or whatever word you have chosen to make up) yell at yourself in front of everybody. This is sure to train you to speak manner fully, because you may fear public embarrassment. Now, go out into the world and use manners by sounding fancy and French!
