Rice Corner--Exercise

Hello and welcome back to Rice Corner! I am going to be continuing my being healthy series. This week’s is going to be about exercise.
We want our youth to be able to have many opportunities to get off their screens and to be active. If they aren’t being active, this will just lead to a lazy and country. We want our children having fun and playing outside! This will bring a whole lot more happiness to our country to see kids playing outside again. Now most of “playing” is with video games, Netflix, watching tv, and so on. We need to pull our children away from their screens and let them get active and experience the world. I personally love to get my kids active as they are very interested in nature and animals. So I take them on hikes every Saturday and we have a picnic and it’s always a lot of fun being outside and active with my 3 little ones. It also lets me spend some quality time with them and get to know them better. They always get very excited when we go outside and we also usually go for walks after dinner to hang out and I especially want my kids to get involved in sports as I did as a kid. That always allowed me to make plenty new friends and being fit and active. My girls have been having trouble bonding with their new baby brother Nolan. They were so used to it being just them and me and my husband. But they are getting closer to Nolan ever since we’ve started hanging out more outside and going for walks and hikes and such. So exercise and getting outside has really helped my family with bonding and otherwise. This shows how much getting outside and getting some exercise can really help you not just physically but also mentally and possibly with family members and/or friends.
