Eating With Manners

Do you ever look at your leggings and wonder how they got so dirty? Eating is the easiest and the hardest thing to do. It’s easy because it is one of the first things we learn as a child in this world. But keeping the food on the plate and into your mouth is much more of a challenge than it seems. It plagues nearly everyone, but definitely the younger generation, and especially me. Luckily, there many tips and tricks I’ve found to eat food without spilling it all over yourself.

Eat Slowly. This makes you less likely to drop anything into your lap.
Take smaller bites. This tip is especially good if you are eating a liquid, such as yogurt or soup. When you take smaller bites, you will be less likely to spill over the spoon.
Put a napkin over your lap. Then, if food spills you don’t have to freak out about it. It also is the polite thing to do.

Just remember, it happens to everyone, and there are so many ways to fix it!
