Ella's Corner--Kendall Jenner--The Kar-Jenner Series
Alright, I’m ready for part three, and my personal favorite of all Kardashian-Jenners: Kendall. Today’s main focuses will be her controversial Pepsi ad, and her modeling career and clothing line with her sister, Kylie Jenner.
First, Kendall's controversial Pepsi ad. In a Pepsi ad focused on the Black Lives Matter movement, Kendall Jenner was the main focus, walking around with crowds of people. Along with thousands of other people, I agree that this was a mistake on Pepsi’s part. Having a white person represent the face of the Black Lives Matter movement, it just seems wrong. And that is probably why Pepsi pulled the ad and posted formal apologies on social media. Kendall was blamed and tagged in hundreds of tweets and memes, making fun of the ad.
Next is Kendall’s modeling career. When Keeping Up with the Kardashians took off, it launched Kendall's modeling career. The connections that her mother had to other celebrities helped Kendall get jobs at a very early age, and from there, nothing could stop her. Kendall now models for Victoria's Secret, has been on the cover of countless magazines, shares a clothing line with Kylie, and still is a part of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
