Hello! In this article, I will take a break from my usual health and wellness topic, and instead I will make a short list of some tips and tricks about the holidays. I’ve learned these over many years, and I’m really excited to share them with you!

- Get get holiday tasks done early--don’t procrastinate.
- Stop and breathe--you need to take time to calm down.
- Donate your time to people who need help.
- Do good in the world--volunteering is a great way to give back this holiday season.
- Put yourself and your needs ahead of others sometimes.
- Trust other people, it is the season to be jolly!
- Don’t be afraid to be the boss/leader during holiday tasks.
- Hire a babysitter (For your sons/daughters--not yourself)
- Set money aside for later.
- Set limits and boundaries during the holiday season.
- Know that you can’t do EVERYTHING. Don’t feel pressured to get everything done on time.
- See the holiday magic!
- Don’t freak out--stay calm. Everything will be okay.
- Smile a little bit--it’s a great way to spread joy and happiness.
- During the year, take notes on presents your loved ones may like--then you aren’t worrying as much about who gets what gift.
- Go outside and play!
