Rice Corner--Sugar High....or Hospital Trip

So I thought that I should share this story of Audrey, my oldest, with you. For a little backstory for you, Audrey is 6 going on 32. So I am running on like 2 hours of sleep because we had to take little Audrey to the hospital last night.
Audrey decided to run around the house because we had given her ice cream. She was on a major sugar high and was going absolutely crazy, jumping off the walls and everything. So we let her run all her energy out around the house. But while she ran she tripped on the Christmas tree lights cord. Then she fell, hit her head against the wall and had a GINORMOUS (at least to me the parent) gash on her forehead. But she got up again and kept running. I was freaking out and calling for my husband so we ran her over to the hospital in fast time and luckily but very scary for me, she got a concussion and she got her head superglued as well. But she really is my trooper because she barely cried at all. I’m very proud of her and I realized something that day. I should never, ever, ever give my children 20 scoops of ice cream(it was only 1) . :) just kidding I will always give my kid lots of ice cream because it’s my favorite food, ever.
